Final Exam Schedule
SOL Time Change - May 27th
The Friday, May 27th, SOL exams for Ms. Michaud, Mr. Wolverton, and Mr. Hannett will begin at 9:30, not at 8:20 as originally announced.
Board of Education's Seal for Excellence in Civics Education: May 27
Community service logs are being distributed on Monday, May 16th to all seniors who meet the initial academic eligibility requirements for the Board of Education's Excellence in Civics Education Seal. Completed community service logs must be submitted to the Counseling Center by Friday, May 27, 2016. Final determination regarding recipients of this diploma seal will be made in June after all final criteria have been reviewed. Seniors who do not receive a community service log in class but who have completed 50 hours of community service and feel they may meet the criteria for the Seal may download the community service log here or pick one up in the Counseling Center. Seniors who do not submit a completed community service log will not be considered for this diploma seal. Contact your counselor if you have any questions.
ILITE Robotics Meeting
ILITE Robotics will be hosting an interest meeting for students who want to learn more about the business side of robotics including raising money, awards submissions, grants, outreach and more. The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 2:15 pm in room 1164. See you there. 
Presentation - "How to plan for college"
On Thursday @ 7-9pm "Your College Coach" will be in Room 1164 giving a presentation on 'How to plan for college', and get into the colleges that you select. Click here to register.
Driver Education Registration

Do you have what it takes to drive safely on America’s most congested roadways?   Statistics prove that the PWCS Behind the Wheel Program consistently produces the safest teen drivers on Northern Virginia roads year after year.   Registration for summer sessions is open now and if you are looking to obtain your driver’s license, sign up today-space is limited!  You must have a valid VA learners permit and the cost of this high quality program taught by PWC teachers certified in Driver’s Education is only $240. You are now able to schedule your summer driving sessions ONLINE.  Please log into  and create an account choosing the summer package.  Sessions are available beginning June 15 with dates running through August 2.  Click here for more information regarding specific dates and times.  If you have specific questions about the program, please contact Krista Link, Driver’s Education Coordinator, at   Additional Behind the Wheel Information
Yearbook Distribution Schedule - ALL SOLD OUT!
The BHS 2016 Lynx is sold out! If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, you made add your name to the list.

Seniors may pick up their yearbooks at the concessions stand in the commons during lunch on May 25, 26 or 27.

Underclassmen will receive their yearbooks as follows: June 1 - Juniors, June 2 - Sophomores and June 3 - Freshmen. Yearbooks will be distributed at the concessions stand in the lunch room during all lunch shifts.

PTO After-Grad Celebration 2016
Battlefield High School PTO is pleased to sponsor an after graduation celebration for the Class of 2016.

The event will be open to Battlefield High school graduates of the class of 2016 from 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7 to 3:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 at the George Mason Freedom Aquatic Center.

Tickets to this event are $40 and are available online at OR face-to-face 5/23 - 5/26 (outside the Enclosed Cafe) OR in the Auditorium at Senior Clearance on Thur, June 2nd.

Battlefield Academic Camps – Registration Now Open
Don’t have time to fit everything into your busy schedule during the school year? Use the Battlefield Academic Camps to enrich your knowledge this summer. Battlefield will host a variety of camps for students of all ages.  For high school students, camps will be offered in the following areas: Boe-Bots, Cyber Defense, Intro to Java, Math SAT Prep, and Renewable 3-D Art.  Click here for more information and registration.

Concussion Training for Rising Freshmen Student-Athletes: June 13
Concussion training for rising freshmen student-athletes will be held on June 13 in the BHS auditorium beginning at 6:00pm.

2016-2017 Fall College Fairs: Save the Dates!
Battlefield High School will host the Western Prince William County Regional College Fair on Monday, September 26, 2016, 6:00-8:00pm. Gar-Field High School will host the Eastern Prince William County Regional College Fair on Thursday, October 13, 2015, 6:00-8:00pm.  Gar-Field High School is located at 14000 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, 22192.

Approximately 100 colleges are expected to be represented at each college fair and the events are open to everyone free of charge. Juniors, seniors, and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend! Information regarding additional upcoming college fairs in northern Virginia will be posted on the "College and Military Visits" portion of the Counseling Center webpage as information becomes available.

Students that are eligible to receive free or reduced meals, and whose parent/guardian provides consent for the release of their eligibility status, may be eligible for fee waivers. In order to obtain the applicable fee waivers, please complete this form and return it to your school’s cafeteria manager. By completing this form, you are authorizing the cafeteria manager to release the pertinent information to the school’s office staff.
